League Rules

Valley Wheel Adult, Amateur Baseball

Valley Wheel Uses MLB Rules (Mostly).

Jim Nason’s Valley Wheel Over-28 Baseball League requires all players must be at least 28 years of age by June 1 of the season in play. Games are played on 90-foot diamonds officiated by 2 board-certified umpires. The league follows Major League Baseball rules (mlb.com/official-information) for the most part, adapted with safety in mind as we all have responsibilities the next day. We play 9 innings. Everyone bats; everyone must play a minimum of 4 innings in the field. Top four teams will make the play-offs. A player must play in a minimum of 7 games to be eligible for the playoffs.
