Valley Wheel Baseball in Greater Springfield MA

Valley Wheel Baseball Is All about Baseball.

Jim Nason’s Valley Wheel Baseball League was created in 2006 to allow baseball players an opportunity to:
  • Continue playing the game they loved as kids, and to give a second chance to some so they may realize their dreams.
  • Meet other like-minded individuals who share a common interest as fans, players and enthusiasts of America’s great pastime.
  • Share fun and exercise in a family-friendly environment, where sportsmanship prevails and safety is a primary concern.
  • Learn the fine nuances of the game that were less comprehensible to us as Little Leaguers (and transparent to the most ardent fan).
  • Help our host cities and towns improve field conditions for all to enjoy.
Because our league values team parity (no one team is wildly better than another), we are able to enjoy each others’ camaraderie in friendly competition with the opportunity to form lifelong friendships.

Our league goals in order of importance are:
    1. To provide an opportunity to as many baseball enthusiasts as possible to play the game they love.
    2. To strive for parity among teams so every game is a challenge.
    3. Do our best to allow friends, brothers, sons, and fathers to play together.
    4. For each team to experience playing 2–3 games under the lights each season.
